Rapper Medikal is my man – Sister Debbie

Although 21-year-old hiplife/hiphop artiste Medikal only recently got his break through when Criss Waddle’s AMG Business label signed him on, it appears the hard rapper has already won the heart of presenter and model sister Debbie.

The ‘By Heart Boy’ and ‘Confirm’ rapper real name Samuel Addo Frimpong and Sister Debbie had generated some talk as to a love interest  brewing and true to form Sister Debbie real name Deborah Vanessa Owusu-Bonsu has confirmed on GhOne TV that indeed they’ve been an item for 2 weeks.

Speaking to Berla Mundi on Thursday, Wanluv’s sister revealed:

“Medikal and I have been dating for two weeks and it is really a serious one. The truth is, if he should pop the ‘will you marry me question’, I will not hesitate to say yes.”

True, for Sister Debbie 32 to date and hope to marry Medikal 21 can be unsettling for many and Debbie acknowledges many have questioned her choice: “A lot of people are not happy about my choice; I mean I have heard distasteful comments ever since rumours about our relationship got to people.”

According to the ‘Uncle Obama’ singer, it was Medikal’s idea to go public with the union and she has grown to appreciate his love “honestly, Medikal started it, he is the reason it got to the public and that is why I also have the confidence to accept and boldly say it.”

Certainly time will be the judge if this is a fling or rooted in love.
