Ghanaian Hiplife artiste, Yaa Pono has advised students of the University of Ghana – Legon that even though the use marijuana is not legalized in Ghana, they should resort to smoking of 'weed' if they are finding any difficulties academically.Â
The Tema-based rapper who has been a strong advocate for the legalization of marijuana during his performance at the Legon-Pent Hall week celebration, stopped in mid-performance of his show to share a few words with the students.
Yaa Pono said: “You are attending Legon and your mum is spending a lot of money if you are finding difficulties in learning, just smoke,†the rapper is heard saying.
Pono’s advice was met with an enthusiastic applause from the students.
