Sarkodie and Edem started on a humble note like they always say, "it’s not how you start that matters but how you end".
But just like the old adage goes in the Akan language: “Obi nnim obrempong ashase3â€, meaning “every rich king now once had a beginning that was not all that good†but is making it big presently.Â
Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo is also multiple award-winning artists with so many domestic and global awards to his name.
Edem was born in Dzodze in the Volta Region of Ghana. He won the Best International Act-Africa at 2015 Black Canadian Awards.
Edem also won 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Album of the Year Books and Rhymes.
Sarkodie and Edem started music with Hammar ‘Last Two’ record label.
Life has changed quickly for both as they own their respective record labels with Sarkodie having Sarksess music and Edem owning VRMG.
