Some angry residents of Ayiem, a town in the Amenfi Central districtmofmthe Western Region have burnt alive a 27-year-old man for killing a pregnant woman.

The deceased, known as Sarfo, went into hiding after the murder until he was arrested on Wednesday  by community guards who had been searching for him.
The visibly angry youth after capturing him would not listen to pleas by elders of the town to handover over the deceased to the police, but went ahead and set him ablaze moments later.
Assembly member of the area, Raphael Akudbilla Messiah, roundly condemned the dastardly act by the youth and urged them to allow the law to take its course in such instances, kasapafmonline reported.
