The Chief of Sota in the Shai Osudoku District of Greater Accra and two others were on Sunday morning shot and killed by some unknown assailants.

The chief, his son and head of family were using a Toyota Corolla vehicle on the Dodowa – Ningo road at the time of the incident.

The assailants were said to have followed them and in a “Rambo style” shot and killed them at Mango Tsonya, a sparsely populated area near an ECG substation.

Graphic Online gathered that the assailants who were two in number, used an un-registered motorbike for the operation.

They were said to have crossed the chief’s vehicle and ordered him to stop, when he did, the pillion rider was said to have gone closer and shot them dead after which they bolted.

Investigations have been initiated into the matter by the police who later visited the scene of the incident.

Some eyewitnesses told Graphic Online they suspected the incident was related to a land litigation.
