Bawumia signs John Kumah's book of condolence

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday, March 8 commiserated with the family of Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah at his residence in Accra.

Bawumia also used the opportunity to sign the book of condolence, describing the late deputy Finance Minister as a rising and shining star.

“Indeed, Ghana and the NPP have lost a hardworking son. My deepest condolences to Lilian and the children, his mother, the entire family, and all loved ones. John, Damirifa Due!,” he posted on Facebook.

The Vice President was accompanied by a host of dignitaries including the Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei Opare and chairman of the New Patriotic Party.

John Kumah died on Thursday, March 7 after a short illness.
