Nicholas Gborse of Bishop Herman SHS named 2017 Best Teacher

Nicholas Gborse has won the Most Outstanding Teacher Prize at this year's National Best Teacher Award scheme which has been renamed and rebranded as the Ghana Teacher Prize.

Nicholas Gborse is a teacher of the Bishop Herman College situated at Kpando in the Volta Region.

He is expected to receive a three-bedroom house and a GHS5,000 endowment fund as part of his prize.

Bishop Herman College (BIHECO) is a boys-only second-cycle institution located at Kpando in the Volta Region of Ghana.

It was established on 28 February 1952. It was the first secondary school established by the Catholic Church in the Volta Region. The school was named after a French Catholic bishop, Auguste Herman.
