Residents of Huniso in the Prestea-Huni Valley District of the Western Region were shocked after a 15-year-old Junior High School (JHS) student was on Thursday, July 7 caught having sex with a sheep.

According to a Unit Committee chairman in the area, one Mr. Nfum, said he was resting in his room on the said day when two young men came to his house with the culprit and asked if he knew him.
After Mr Mfum indicated that the boy lived in his house, one of the men revealed that he heard a sheep bleating endlessly in an unusual manner in a pen at home and rushed out only to see the boy having sexual intercourse with the sheep.
The man then questioned the 15-year-old boy as to why he did the unthinkable but the boy could not say anything at that time.
The case was later reported to the youth leader in the area because the chief was absent.
Mr Mfum stated “As it stands now, we have to wait for the chief and report to him for the next line of action.â€
“I was in the room some few hours and honestly, I do not know what pushed me to that, something forced me to go and have sex with the sheep,†the suspect was quoted as saying, according to the Daily Guide.
