General Overseer of International God’s Way Church has described his latest arrest and detention experience at the hands of cops as harrowing.
“I went through hell. I tried to twist and turn my hands while in handcuffs but any time I try, the space in between my wrist and the handcuff closes. It was so painfulâ€, he informed the teeming masses who had congregated at his Accra home after he was granted police inquiry bail.
Clearly agitated and hurt to have been handcuffed despite voluntarily presenting himself at the Tema Domestic Violence and Victims’ Support Unit of the Ghana Police Service in Tema before being passed on to the Nima Police Station and Police CID Headquarters, the man some call ‘Angel’ promised those officers who embarrassed him to expect God to duly punish them.
