The Ministry of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Google for Education to support the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into Ghana’s education system.
The agreement was signed by Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu and Mr. Kelvin Kells, Global Managing Director of Google for Education.

According to the Minister, the partnership aims to promote innovation in teaching and learning, improve digital literacy, strengthen teacher capacity, and equip Ghanaian students with skills needed for the future of work in a technology-driven world.

Mr. Iddrisu described the agreement as a major step in government’s efforts to transform education through technology, innovation, and international collaboration.
He noted that the partnership will help position Ghanaian learners to compete effectively in the digital age.
