The editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, has urged President Nana Akufo-Addo to fix the prevailing power crisis (dumsor) quickly.

Dumsor has returned with renewed ferocity in recent times, stifling businesses and making life difficult for Ghanaians.

It has drawn condemnation from a section of the public, with many urging the government to arrest the problem.

Kweku Baako, speaking on News File on Joy FM, added his voice to the calls for action.

He said although the erratic power situation was not solved by the Mahama administration, there was no excuse for Ghanaians to be experiencing it under the new government.

“Dumsor wasn’t solved totally but that’s no excuse. The president and his team must fix it,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Electricity Company of Ghana has given an assurance that the electricity situation will improve in March.
