A ceremony was on Sunday held at the Asomdwee Park in Accra to mark the fourth anniversary of the passing of former President John Evans Atta Mills.

The late Professor Mills who was widely seen as a peacemaker who never made a disparaging comment in public despite intense criticisms and vilification from both his political supporters and opponents on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the 37 Military Hospital, becoming the first Ghanaian president to die in office.

The ceremony saw several high profile dignitaries including former President of Malawi, Joyce Banda lay wreaths at where Mills’ tomb is located.
