On May 31, 2021, Her Ladyship, Justice Gifty Agyei Addo delivered a landmark ruling on a case in which Rastafari student, Tyron Marhguy, was denied admission into Achimota School because of his dreadlocks.
The High Court Judge ruled that preventing the student from attending school because of his dreadlocks was an infringement on his constitutional right to education.
