The Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has disclosed that the report for the military helicopter crash on August 6, 2025, will be presented to the National Security Council on Monday, November 10, 2025.
The tragic accident claimed the lives of eight (8) senior government officials, including the Minister for Defence, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, and the Minister for Environment, Science and Technology and was also the Member of Parliament for Tamale Central constituency, Dr Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed.
The Government Communications Minister disclosed in a Facebook post on Sunday, November 9, highlighting some major events of the government in the week.
The statement added that details of the helicopter crash report would be released at a media conference on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu also said President John Dramani Mahama is expected to launch the “Nkoko nkitinkiti” flagship programme in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi.
Additionally, he announced that the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government will be read in Parliament.
”And then on Thursday, the 2026 Budget, which brims with far-reaching policy initiatives, will be read in Parliament by the Finance Minister,” he stated.
