The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that passport applications left incomplete for more than two months after submission will be automatically cancelled.

A statement issued by the Ministry on Friday, in Accra, said incomplete applications include those requiring further vetting, submission of supporting documents, incomplete biometric registration or pending biometric recapture.

“Passport applicants are hereby informed that fees paid in respect of such applications are non-refundable and affected individuals will be required to start a new application process including the payment of applicable fees”, it added.

It noted that further details could be obtained from the 24-Hour Call Centre on 0302 754 200.

According to the Ministry, the general public is, therefore, encouraged to complete applications on time to avert cancellations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs assures the general public of its commitment to quality service delivery.
