Mr Ernest Akobuor Debrah, a former Minister for Food and Agriculture in the erstwhile J.A. Kufuor government has passed away.

Mr Debrah who at different times between 2001-2004 also served as the Brong Ahafo and Northern Regional Minister is reported to have died after a short illness.
He was elected Tano North Member Parliament in December 2004 completing two terms.
The late former minister, one-time Chief Manager,of Retail Banking Unit of the then SG-SSB, left behind a wife and four children.
He was 68.
