Let's tolerate different religious views for peaceful co-existence - Bawumia to Muslims

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has over the weekend called on Muslims to exhibit tolerance in their everyday lives, so that Ghana will be able to continue to enjoy the peace that exist between Christians and Muslims.

The Vice President who was sworn into office a week ago was addressing the Muslim community at New Fadama in Accra during the celebration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed.

According to him respect for views of people with different faith will help Ghana in it developmental agenda.

“We are very fortunate in this country that we have this type of peaceful co-existence between Christian and Muslim and we should try and maintain it that way", he said.
