Man arrested for whipping sons with electricity cable

A 35-year-old man, Kofi Konor Abusuapanyin, is in the grips of the Nkwanta Police for allegedly whipping his two sons with an electricity cable.

 It's being alleged, the reason for the brutality is because the children left the house to watch football without their father's permission.

The sons, Francis Kofi, 9 and Joe 7 have suffered severe cuts on their bodies as a result of the brutality.

Mother of the kids, Atta Joyce, who reported the incident to the Police, She says it is difficult for her to understand why her ex-husband would mete out such punishments to his own biological children.

 The Police has since begun investigations into the assault.
