The Ashanti regional capital Kumasi has since been buried in a massive flood after an hour of heavy rainfall.
Major areas affected by the heavy downpour includes; Aboabo, Anloga, Kwadaso, Tafo Sepe Boukrom with several homes and families displaced.
According to reports, three people are confirmed dead in one family. Also, a man has lost his wife, his 2-year-old son, a thirteen-year-old and a 12-year-old belonging to his extended family.
Commuters and other road users have been left stranded after an hour of heavy rainfall.
