The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) says it has concluded its Disaster Impact Assessment following the Koforidua floods.
The flood led to the deaths of two persons who were trapped in a taxi cab and dislodged several inhabitants of the town.
The Eastern Regional Coordinator of NADMO, Ransford Boakye stated over 2,700 persons were affected by the rains/floods rendering 600 vulnerable people in dire need of assistance.
He said the agency will offer assistance to the 600 immediately having conducted the Vulnerability Analysis.
Mr. Boakye warned persons still in unsecured portions of the town to relocate and join friends and relations in other parts or seek shelter at camps they are erecting.
