The National Service Authority says it has paid the March 2026 allowance to eligible National Service personnel across the country and has asked beneficiaries to check their bank accounts for confirmation of payment.
In a statement issued on May 16, the Authority said the payments were successfully processed on Friday, 15th May. It said the allowance covers personnel under the general enrolment for the 2025 to 2026 service year, nurses for the 2026 to 2027 service year, continuing nurses for the 2025 to 2026 period, and trained teachers who are also continuing their service for the same year.
The Authority thanked personnel for their patience and cooperation during the processing period.
The statement, signed by Ruth Dela Seddoh, said the Controller and Accountant General’s Department had indicated that the April 2026 allowance would be released soon.
It added that the Authority would disburse the funds immediately after receiving them.
Management of the Authority said it remained committed to ensuring timely and efficient payment of allowances and would continue working with relevant stakeholders to improve service delivery.
The Authority also thanked National Service personnel for what it described as their dedication and service to the nation.
