Parliament is to extend its session for another week to enable it conclude critical matters.
The house was scheduled to rise by close of Friday, July 29, but will now do so on August 5.
The Bank of Ghana Amendment Bill, the Right to Information Bill and Public Financial Management Bill as well as others are currently before the house and require attention.

Some MP’s expressed fear the extension can hurt their re-election bids since they’ve been absent in their constituencies during their re-registration exercise by the EC.
