Three men, Sazak Gbegie, Kennedy Ansah, and Jerry Amoah, aged 35, 34 and 26 respectively have been sentenced to a total of 100 years imprisonment with hard labour by a circuit court at Agona Swedru for robbery.

Prosecutor for the case told the court that Jerry Amoah’s information always led to the arrests of criminals at Ngleshie Amamfrom in the Central Region.

He said the three convicts decided to rob the boss of Jerry of his valuables and an undisclosed amount of money but they had a misunderstanding in the process of sharing the money amongst themselves.

One of the convicts was not happy about the treatment by Jerry and so reported the case to the Kasoa police, leading to their arrests.

They pleaded guilty to the charges with an explanation, but after the explanation, the court, presided over by Mrs. Abigail Animah  Asare, found them guilty of the charges of conspiracy to rob and robbery, Adom News Kofi Agyei reported.
