The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has informed customers in parts of the Accra West Region of a planned maintenance exercise that will result in a temporary power outage.

In a public notice, the power distributor said the exercise forms part of efforts to improve service quality and ensure a more stable and reliable electricity supply.

The maintenance is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During the period, electricity supply will be interrupted in several communities, including Fadama, Kwashieman, Nyamekye, Darkuman, Abeka, Lapaz, Tabora, Race Course, Kwashiebu, Chantan and Hansonic.

Other affected areas are Dansoman Junction, Mallam Junction, McCarthy, Choice, Sampa Valley, Alogboshie, Achimota Neoplan, Benjilo, Manhean, Oduman and surrounding communities.

ECG apologised for the inconvenience the outage may cause and appealed to customers to bear with the company as it undertakes the improvements.
