The former Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Hon E.T Mensah has joined the race to contest for the upcoming Council of State election as a Greater Accra representative.
The 70 year old  former member of Parliament who was ticked as one of the longest serving MP since 1997 until he was defeated in the 2016 National Democratic Congress [NDC] Parliamentary Primaries has spotted on the fourth slot on the notice of poll among fifteen (15) other candidate.
The election of the Council of State according to Electoral Commission of Ghana is scheduled for Thursday February 16, 2017.
The Greater Accra regional elections would be organized at the Ga West District Hall in Amasaman.
