Residents in parts of Kadjebi in the Volta Region were shocked when they spotted the obituary poster of a person with albinism, popularly known as ‘albino’, on several walls in Kadjebi.
 It appears they were extremely curious to catch a glimpse of the obituary poster on walls as they were seen in groups.
For them, it was the first time in the history of their time seeing and hearing the demise of a person with albinism, and let alone see an obituary poster.
Their curiosity and shock were against the myth that ‘albinos don’t die, they just disappear’.
The 29-year-old late Gbeti Grace was an Office Assistant at Headquarters of Albinism Association of Ghana in Accra and would be buried on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Kadjebi.
Prime News Ghana has been informed that Gbeti Grace’s sudden death occurred after giving birth to triplet at the Kadjebi Government Hospital a few months ago.
Meanwhile, Prime News Ghana’s checks at the Kadjebi Government Hospital indicate that the triplets are doing well.
