The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has declared a former Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Finance, Mr Ernest Darko Akore, wanted.
In public notice issued on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the OSP, said Mr Akore is a 67-year-old male with black eye colour and Black hair, is being pursued pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by the High Court-Criminal Division under suit number CR/0397/2025, in the case of Republic v Ernest D. Akore.
“The suspect, a former Chef de Cabinet (Technical Advisor) at Ghana’s Ministry of Finance is wanted in relation to ongoing investigation on corruption and corruption related offences concerning the Revenue Assurance Contract between the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Strategic Mobilization Limited (SML),” part of the post reads.
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this individual should alert the Office by calling or sending a WhatsApp message to 0554494499 / 0554484488. Wanted pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by the High Court-Criminial Division in the case of Republic V Ernest D. Akore; Suit number CR/0397/2025,” the OSP added.
