2 dead, 25 injured after Sprinter, Military ambulance collided

Two people have been confirmed dead with 25 injured after broken down vehicle on the Cape-Coast-Takoradi caused a Sprinter bus to collide with a military ambulance near Komenda in the Central Region.

According to an eyewitness, the Sprinter bus rammed into the ambulance when it tried to avoid a broken down vehicle.

He added that prior to Thursday’s accident, there had been an accident on the same road but the police failed to tow the vehicle, which the Sprinter was trying to avoid but unfortunately rammed into an oncoming military ambulance .

The twenty-five others have also been injured and are currently on admission at the Effia Nkwanta Hospital in Takoradi and the Interberton Hospital in Cape Coast, according to citifmonline.
