Veep buys two Kantanka vehicles for state use

The Kantanka Automobile Assembly Plant at Gomoa Mpota had a terrific work day when Ghana’s Vice-President took delivery of two Kantanka Onantefuo 4X4 vehicles for state use with delivery of a third anticipated soon.

Kwesi Amissah-Arthur expressed desire for the Kantanka team to continue to innovate and sustain the vison of the company’s founder Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo.

The Kantanka Automobile Assembly Plant is home to several innovations including electric saloon and electric four-wheel drives, an electric SUV called the Nkunimdie, the Kantanka Onantefuo 4x4 pick-up and the electric Kantanka Opasuo Range.

The Vice-President noted the purchases are in fulfilment of the government’s pledge to support the Kantanka Automobile Company to thrive and give meaning to the campaign for Ghanaians to patronise locally manufactured products.

He was given a tour of the welding line, the spraying room, the general assembly line (rain tests) and test line of the plant by Chief Operating Office Kwadwo Safo Jnr.

 

Kwadwo Safo Jnr. for his part assured the veep about the durability of the vehicles with spare parts being available on the local market.
