Video/Photos : Bus coveying UENR students to KNUST catches fire

Reports indicate that a bus conveying level 300 students of the University Of Energy And Natural Resources (UENR) to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has caught fire.

The cause of the fire is not yet known but from our sources, the bus is completely burnt but the good thing is no one was hurt.

Every two weeks, level 300 Electrical Engineering students of the University of Energy and Natural Resources embark on a practical trip to their mother university, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for practicals.

It was on such a trip that this calamity has befallen these students.

The accident was reported to have occurred along the Kumasi-Sunyani Road.

Prime News have made further checks and we have been told that there were no casualties and all students on-board the bus are safe.

A level 400 student at UENR says the school is yet to release a statement on the matter and we are following the issue with keen interest.
