The Narcotics Control Commission has cautioned the public against fraudulent recruitment claims, stating that it has not initiated any hiring process.
In a statement issued on April 16 and signed by Acting Director of Public Affairs and International Relations, Francis Opoku Amoah, the Commission emphasised that “it has not commenced any recruitment exercise.”
The warning follows reports of individuals and groups posing as agents of NACOC and offering job opportunities within the organisation.
According to the Commission, it has not authorised or engaged any person or organisation to recruit on its behalf, urging the public to treat such claims with caution.
NACOC further advised individuals not to make any payments or disclose personal information to persons claiming to facilitate recruitment, describing such demands as fraudulent schemes.
It warned that those involved in the illegal activities will be arrested and prosecuted, and encouraged the public to report any suspicious recruitment offers to the appropriate authorities.
