Did you work out during your pregnancy? A mother who lifted weights throughout her pregnancy has taken to social media to show off her toned abs 10 Weeks after giving birth to her daughter Kaia.
31-year-old Inger Houghton says that she stayed active for her entire pregnancy and kept doing everything from kettlebells to pull-ups.
She has even shared footage on her instagram account of her lifting weights and doing consecutive pull-ups right until she was 39 weeks pregnant.
Inger now lives in Dubai and has regained her athletic figure only 10 weeks after giving birth to baby Kaia which she claims is down to breastfeeding and training during pregnancy.
Speaking to the Dailymail, Inger said: “I stayed active for my entire pregnancy. I didn’t train as often or as hard as before of course, but I would have gone mad if I couldn’t do anything for nine months.”
Luckily I had a good pregnancy without any major problems, so it didn’t feel like a struggle to keep active.”
“I also felt a big change in my balance as my belly grew, and obviously doing pull-ups with 14kg extra was a bit harder.”
