Hollywood’s awards season wrapped up Sunday night with the Oscars. Check out the best photos from the red carpet before the show:

Lady Gaga. The Star Is Born Best Actress nominee teamed the dazzling yellow jewel, famously worn by Audrey Hepburn in her promotional shots for Breakfast At Tiffany's, with a sculptural black gown by Alexander McQueen.

 

Mahershala Ali and his wife,Amatus Sami-Karim. Mahershala Ali won the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for Green Book on Sunday night, two years after taking home the same award for Moonlight making him the first black actor to win two best supporting Academy Awards. Spotted here is him and his wife Amatus Sami-Karim.  

 

Tonya Lewis Lee and Spike Lee. Spike Lee is wearing rings that say “love” and “hate.” The jewelry paid homage to Radio Raheem, a beloved character in the director’s film “Do the Right Thing.” Lee also wore purple in honor of the late musician Prince.

 

Regina King. She won her first Oscar at the 91st Academy Awards in Holly on Sunday. The actress was the epitome of style in the strapless dress slit to the waist on one side.The designer number had a train that billowed out behind her as she posed for photos on her way into the awards show.

 

Gemma Chan. The Crazy Rich Asians Actress did not hold back with her outfit choice, sporting an incredibly vibrant fuchsia gown, with parachute-style ruffles and a statement neckline.

 

Charlize Theron. The 43 year old actress pulled out all the stops wearing a backless Dior Couture gown for the 91st Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre. She showed her killer figure in the tight, powder blue number and also revealed a new short brunette hairstyle.

 

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez. The songstress flaunted her hourglass curves in the high-neck Tom Ford gown. Jennifer pulled out all of the stops for her Oscars look wearing mosaic mirrored tiles from head to toe as boyfriend Alex Rodriguez stood by her side in a crisp white suit and black bow tie. 

 

Danai Gurira. The star of Oscar-winner Black Panther showed up at the 91st Academy Awards rocking a gold, strapless, floor-length gown from Brock Collection and a head full of braids and accessorizing with a gold headband to match her dress..

 

Octavia Spencer. The actress showed up wearing a Christian Siriano gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a Tyler Ellis clutch.

 

Serena Williams. The 37 year old tennis superstar turned heads on the red carpet with her hip-hugging black and red gown. Serena wore a custom Armani Prive gown made of black silk. The gorgeous outfit featured a crimson jeweled bustier top that accentuated her cleavage.

 


Emma Stone. The La La Land actress slid into a sneakskin gown that is reportedly by Louis Vuitton. Her smoldering dress featured flared-up epaulets and she slicked her dark hair tightly down to sweep it into a bun behind her head.

Pharrell Williams and his wife, Helen Lasichanh. Pharrell is known for his unconventional style and the 2019 Oscars were no exception. The musician chose a camouflage shorts suit for the occasion, while his model wife wore all black.

 

Constance Wu. Crazy Rich Asians star Constance Wu arrived on the Oscars 2019 red carpet in one of of the boldest fashion choices we've seen from her to date—an absolutely breathtaking custom Atelier Versace pleated gown in the boldest shade of canary yellow. The gown's delicate off-shoulder neckline was trimmed in crystals, and complemented by her bevy of Neil Lane jewels.

 

Lucy Boynton and Rami Malek. The Bohemian Rhapsody stars and real-life couple walked the red carpet together, Boynton looking lovely in an off-the-shoulder dress in a vibrant deep purple hue. Meanwhile, Malek kept it classic in a Saint Laurent black suit.

 

Melissa McCarthy. She did it in a sleek black-and-white jumpsuit featuring a floor-length cape.The star finished her look with swept-back hair a pink lip.
