Akufo-Addo as MP for 12 years failed to provide potable water to Kyebi, he is a failure – Fiifi Kwetey

Transport Minister, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, contends while the NPP are talkers, the NDC of which he is part of are doers adding folks of the elephant stock are empty barrels who make the most noise giving little substance while NDC functionaries are the real deal.

The Member of Parliament for the Ketu South constituency berated the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential nominee for doing little for his constituents even as a Member of Parliament and cabinet minister.

He told teeming supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the party’s 2016 manifesto launch in Sunyani that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo despite serving as MP for 12 years and cabinet for 7 years in the Kufuor regime failed to facilitate the presence of potable water for the people in his Eastern home region adding it took President Mahama to generously do that.

He praised President Mahama for his unprecedented achievements from 2013 to 2016 assuring all, given a mandate renewal, candidate Mahama shall complete the Accra Sewer System and the Mudor Waste Treatment Plant making life bearable for residents around the Lavender Hill.

Hon. Kwetey also pointed to candidate Mahama’s massive road propjets including the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange and the Kasoa Interchange as proof of more good things to come when retained in power.

According to the Transport Minister, his boss plans to make all roads leading to major health centres motorable either asphalted or coated.

He told the gathering at the Sunyani Coronation Park in the Brong Ahafo region that the NDC government under President Mahama is investing 1.5 billion cedis in expanding the Tema Port which upon completion will make it the leading port in the sub region, continent and become a global competitor.

He pleaded for supporters and floating voters to come out in their numbers on election day and cast their vote for candidate Mahama and the NDC parliamentary candidates.
