The All People’s Congress is threatening to seek redress at the law courts after the party’s presidential candidate, Hassan Ayariga was disqualified form contesting the December 7 polls.

Youth Organiser, Mordechai Tumbiani says although the Electoral Commission (EC) cited non provision of residential address, hometown and other details as cause for the disqualification, the letter the EC sent to them contained reasons other than the announced ones.

Meanwhile after the disqualification, the APC’s presidential aspirant when contacted by Class FM to share his thoughts called the EC Chair, Madam Charlotte Osei unprintable names in a rage fit.

Within hours however the party issued the following apology.

DR. HASSAN AYARIGA & APC APOLOGISE TO EC BOSS

The All People's Congress (APC) and Dr. Hassan Ayariga remorsefully apologised to the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission for the remarks she suffered from the leadership of APC after the interim disqualification of our Presidential Nomination Form.

We retract our remarks and apologise accordingly to the EC Chairperson.
