Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa today June 23, 2018, survived an assassination attempt at a rally in the city of Bulawayo.
A rally attended by Zimbabwe’s president Emmerson Mnangagwa in Bulawayo was rocked by an explosion as the president walked off the podium.

The explosion was close to the VIP tent, they said. Several people appeared to be injured, and footage showed medical staff rushing to the scene.
