Albert Kan-Dapaah who is the National Security Minister says the national security operative who slapped MP for Ningo Prampram Samuel Goerge during the Ayawaso by-election violence has been identified but yet to be arrested.

Sam George was seen in a viral video being assaulted by a national security operative during the Ayawaso by-election.

Mr. Kan-Dapaah says the man has been identified but has not been apprehended yet.

“It will be interesting to find out why he has not been arrested”, he told the Commission.

The Member of Parliament for Odododiodio, Nii Lante Vanderpuye has disclosed that the man who slapped Ningo Prampram legislator, Sam George, is a wanted man.

“We have known him to be an armed robber who has domiciled in Old Fadama for some time. He was being pursued and he ran to the North and came down when there was a change of government,” he told Joy News’ Roland Walker on the AM Show.

The National Democratic Congress says none of its members should appear before the Commission of Inquiry but Sam George replying a comment by one Facebook user said he will appear before the commission.
