Even showing that the stakes are much higher in this years’ election, the New Patriotic Party’s Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Bosiako alias Chairman Wuntumi has made a startling disclosure on live radio which can derail our peaceful election campaign efforts.

Chairman Wuntumi has declared that since the National Democratic Congress rigged the 2012 election result in favour of incumbent president, Mahama, he has put in a strategy to counter the NDC’s rigging scheme, for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to emerge winners in December’s election.

“I am telling you that if the NDC attempts to rig the elections, I, Wuntumi will rig them first before they rig the elections. They are already late because I have taken the lead on what to do on Election Day.

“We are left with some days to elections and I can tell you that Mahama is confused and so for him not to feel ashamed after the elections, they are trying hard to rig the polls...," he disclosed.

Although the Okay FM show host, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, tried to have him retract the contentious statements, the controversial politician stuck to his guns.

Chairman Wuntumi also held that credible sources has reported to him that the NDC is clandestinely producing election ballot papers at their National Chairman, Kofi Portuphy’s office and planning other dubious things which will enable them steal and win 2016’s election hence his resolute stand.

He also implied the Mahama administration and the Electoral Commission’s Chairperson, Charlotte Osei are scheming to frustrate voters in the Ashanti Region on Election Day.
