The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission Charlotte Osei and her Deputy Commissioner Amadu Sulley were yesterday in Parliament, to respond to questions on how monies charged journalists for accreditation to cover the 2016 general elections and funds realised from the replacement of voter ID cards were expended.

The two commissioners have been in the media over the past week,  accusing each other of financial malfeasance and misconduct.

Speaking on their appearance in Parliament, the MP said even though the two Commissioners have issues, they needed to present a united front..

Mathew Nyindam noted, By and large, the encounter has given Ghanaians the opportunity to know what is happening at the commission.
