Leader of the All Peoples Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga launched a blistering attack on the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Madam Charlotte Osei over his disqualification from the 2016 presidential race.
Madam Osei on Monday after the closure of the nomination process for the December 7 polls announced that Hassan Ayariga and eleven other presidential hopefuls including  Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, Dr Edward Mahama, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, Akua Donkor and Dr Henry Herbert Lartey had been disqualified because of some irregularities on their nomination forms which breached CI 94, the constitutional provision governing the conduct of the elections.
But in an interview on Class FM after the Madam Osei's announcement, the APC leader did not understand how the EC Chairperson could disqualify considering the fact that he was a candidate in the 2012 elections.

"Somebody who contested in the past election [and] you telling me you don't know his identity and for that reason you disqualify that person. Are you normal, does it make sense to you?", he asked.
According to him, "Madam Charlotte Osei herself does not qualify to be the Electoral Commissioner [because] she is stupid and foolish".
He also used some unprintable words to describe Madam Osei.
