Chiefs and voters hail Greenstreet on 2-day tour of Bono Ahafo Region

The chief of Chiraa in the Bono Ahafo Region, Berima Mintah Afari has described the CPP presidential candidate, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet as a visionary leader who ought to be emulated.

He further urged Mr. Greenstreet to be bold and return the country to its rightful place in the committee of nations when he becomes president-elect on December 7 stressing he had brought dignity to the presidential race despite his impairment in the limbs.

Berima Afari stated, the CPP presidential candidate’s exploits showed that when disability hits, it needn’t be the end of productive life mentioning that Mr. Greenstreet was a reputable lawyer who was called to the bar overseas showing his brilliance.

“If any man desires my friendship, he is my friend. If he desires brotherhood, then he is my brother,” he rounded up.

Berima Afari made the pleasant comments when the Convention People’s Party (CPP) leader paid a courtesy call on him before commencing his 2 day tour of the Bono Ahafo Region.

Mr. Greenstreet on the first day of his two day tour visited Berekum East, Sunyani East and West where eager electorates lined up on the street to welcome and pledge voting for the lawyer cum CPP functionary alleging mistreatment from both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr. Greenstreet sated he was making a new covenant with Ghanaians to liberate them economically adding he was in the race to safeguard the interest of Ghanaians. He declared, Nkrumah’s’ vision which was cut short with his overthrow and eventual death was very much alive as he is poised to visit the master development plan drawn for Ghana but neglected on the orders of certain power houses.

Mr. Greenstreet will tour Techiman North and South on the final day of his tour of the Bono Ahafo Region.
