Aspiring National Organizer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan, says the current crop of national executives, some of whom are seeking re-election, cannot bring the NDC back to power in 2020.

Yaw Boateng Gyan said if the NDC had maintained the old executives prior to election 2016, the NDC would not have been booted out of power.

The former National Organizer of the NDC made the observation in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen monitored by PrimeNewsGhana on Wednesday.

He added that “one person can change so many things. One person can make a lot of difference” so if Dr. Kwabena Adjei was there as the Chairman prior to 2016 elections, things would not have gone the way it went.

Mr. Boateng Gyan said “I was sad we lost the seat in 2016” and if he [Yaw Boateng Gyan] had won the national organizer, the NDC would not have lost the 2016 elections.

The National organizer aspirant said “we have to assess all the candidates because not everyone will be able to do the job”.
