Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, loses seat

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Vincent Oppong Asamoah and Member of Parliament(MP), for Dormaa West constituency in the Brong Ahafo region has lost his seat.

He joins the chain of NDC Parliamentary candidates falling to the NPP who are currently capturing majority of the seats in Parliament.

Majority leader wins

Meanwhile,Majority Leader and Member of Parliament (MP) for Nadowli/Kaleo constituency, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has retained his seat for the seventh time running.

According to provisional results,he polled 6923 of valid votes cast as he managed to win most of the constituencies to represent his people again as he becomes one of the longest serving MP’s.
