The Eastern Regional Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has served notice party members will no longer be terrorised by National Democratic Congress (NDC) thugs in the region.
David Prah stated at a press conference that since the police has failed to detain the miscreants who also attacked Electoral Commission Officers at Suhum, they have taken the law into their hands to defend themselves.
He stated an order from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the subsequent arrest of the thugs will appease the NPP loyalists to let the law take its cause other than that, they will be on guard to defend themselves and their families.

“Henceforth we will attack any NDC member who attacks the EC or any NPP member†adding their tolerance level has waned.

Mr Prah further submitted that aside the Eastern Region, the NDC thugs are using violent tactics to cower opponents also in the Ashanti and Bono Ahafo Regions yet go unapprehended.
