Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has stated most reports in the media about chiefs endorsing the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate seem schemed.
“Very interesting there can be several explanation for that, one of them is deliberate orchestration, the other could simply be they are all taking from the same place."
“The first significant thing I have notice is that none of the chiefs who have endorsed President Mahama have come forward to deny it. If you know of any tell me, most of the chiefs that have been reported to have endorsed Nana Akufo Addo have either come out personally to deny it or their Traditional Councils have issued statements that they did not say what they have been reported to have said,†Mr. Pratt disclosed on Radio Gold’s political talk show ‘Alhaji and Alhaji’.
Over 30 chiefs have reportedly endorsed the candidature of Akufo-Addo but some have come out to state they were misrepresented in the media.
