Former President John Agyekum Kuffour has asked the New Patriotic Party [NPP] to equip the party headquarters with resources that will enable them strategize for continuous stay in power.
Addressing the NPP fraternity at their National Delegates Conference in Cape Coast, President Kuffour said without a conscious effort by the party to strategize, the party will be moving away from the principles that established it.

He wants the Party to employ members with the ability to think and strategize for the growth and development of policies to meet the various needs of the people of Ghana.
"We should employ people who will think for the party in terms of strategizing and pay them well to be part of the back room staff but the moment they try to contest for party positions we should sack them, we will need them to be in the room and be thinking for the party," he stressed

He lauded the effort of the party for emerging victorious in 2016 general election and rescuing Ghana from what he is described as mismanagement by the Mahama Administration
