Ghana’s Police Service is set to outdoor an election manual to regulate the conduct of security agents and the electorates regarding do’s and don’ts.

Deputy Director of Public Affairs, DSP Freeman Tettey warned that criminal offences will be handled differently from electoral offences to deter potential trouble causers.

He stated persons who commit crimes even at polling station will be apprehended swiftly and processed for prosecution distinct from electoral indiscretions which will be investigated by a special unit.

Civil societies are partnering the police on this project.
