I didn’t call Ken Agyapong an NDC paid agent – Mac Manu

Peter Mac Manu, the campaign manager of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has denied saying the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, is a paid agent of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

A news portal, Weeklyguidegh.com, had quoted him as saying that Mr Agyapong worked for the NDC and should be treated with the contempt he deserved.

But in a statement issued to the media, Mr Manu rejected the claims, stressing that he had neither said that nor granted an interview to the website in question.

Describing the report as “evil” and “malicious”, he said he had no basis to make such disparaging remarks about Mr Agyapong.

Mr Manu called on members of the NPP to focus on working to get Nana Akufo-Addo elected in December and avoid being distracted by what he called the “usual NDC lies”.
