I'll make Nana Addo my Speaker of Parliament - UFP Flagbearer

Presidential Candidate of the United Front Party (UFP), Nana Agyenim Boateng has disclosed his intentions of making New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo the Speaker of Parliament should he win the upcoming presidential elections.

In his proposed all-inclusive government, Mr Boateng also revealed he would hand current Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, a ministerial position.

"I'll make Nana Akufo-Addo Speaker of Parliament and Julius Debrah Minister in my all-inclusive government", he said in an interview with Asempa FM's Ekosii sen after submitting his nomination forms to the Electoral Commission (EC) on Thursday.

According to him,  his main focus as a president would the strengthening of the Cedi through the revamping of the agric sector which will ensure more exports.

"As a president I will ensure the Ghana Cedi becomes stronger than the US dollar through agric exports" he stated, adding that, "agric alone can transform Ghana if taken serious. I'll focus on agric to boost the economy & lives of farmers".
