A notable force heading to the 2016 general elections, Nana Akufo-Addo has promised a landing beach site to be situated at Ekumfi Otuam upon becoming president.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), presidential aspirant declared the beach site will be in memory of late President Mills whom he was friends with right from the University of Ghana.

Nana Akufo-Addo is on a Central Regional tour canvassing for votes. He was at Gomoa Akoti before heading to Breman Asikuma where he pleaded with the electorates to vote him to power since power resided with the people.

“My rival claims I am begging for votes but doesn’t power reside with you. I will keep begging for your votes,” Nana Addo rendered.

He informed the cheering crowd that a second 4 year term was not automatic but given based on a president’s output or delivery.

“If change was not effected, would you (Mahama) have become president? If you perform abysmally should you be allowed to reign?”

The crowed chanted nooooooooooooooooooooooooo to Nana’s rhetorical question, pointing out that Mahama’s poor record meant he couldn’t be given another 4 years to completely ruin the country.

Also in session at the rally were Former Trades Minister, Alan Kyerematen who spoke about plans to build infrastructure but also enable businesses to thrive and create new jobs so money can reflect in people’s pocket under a Nana Addo regime.

The NPP’s Women’s Organiser Otiko Djaba, stalwart Kofi Konadu Apraku and Nana Addo spokesperson, Mustapha Hameed were all in attendance.

Nana Addo is on 3-day tour of the Central Region which took him to Gomoa East, Ekumfi and Asikuma/Odoben/Brakwa on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.
